DraftsRush
Behind the Desk

Lead Scriptwriter & Founder, DraftsRush: CHETAN

I started in mechanical engineering, working in HVAC and gear manufacturing. Plant floors taught me systems, but writing was always the goal. That pull led me to technical writing and search engine optimization, which I have practiced for the past 6 years. I spent those years working on content strategy, keyword research, on-page fixes, and search data. Outside of client work, I spent my nights dissecting film and television screenplays. I studied scene pacing, reader drop-off points, and why viewers abandon a story before the midpoint. Eventually, I started writing my own screenplays. I run DraftsRush to bring that engineering structure to digital video. When you bring an idea to me, we strip away the fluff, map your visual cues to the second, and build a script that keeps viewers watching until the final frame.

DraftsRush was created to solve a simple production problem: high-volume digital video often sacrifices structured narrative discipline and verification. Every production draft, pacing audit, and free browser tool on this platform passes through a single workflow focused on dual-column formatting, retention-backed cold opens, and research accuracy.

Technical Methodology

The Production Gap in Digital Video

Standard: Dual-Column AV Architecture

Most video projects do not fail during filming or color grading. They fail on page one. When a script is written as a passive block of prose, the production team has to guess what visuals support each spoken sentence, leading to disjointed pacing and high audience drop-off.

We treat the script as an operational blueprint. Every draft pairs timed voiceover narration with exact visual cues, camera punch instructions, on-screen text placements, and audio cutaways. This gives editors a clear assembly cut directly from the text.

Execution Protocol

How We Build A Production Draft

STAGE 01

Premise Stress-Testing & Angle Selection

We evaluate the core topic against existing coverage on YouTube and social feeds. Instead of broad summaries, we locate specific conflicts, anomalies, or mechanical teardowns that support a distinct thesis.

STAGE 02

Structural Pacing & Dual-Column AV Layout

We build the script inside our standardized AV layout. The left column details the exact camera movement, screen recordings, stock assets, and graphic overlays. The right column holds dialogue with phonetic emphasis cues.

STAGE 03

The Spoken Read-Through & Trim Pass

Written prose rarely matches spoken delivery. We read every script aloud with a stopwatch to catch awkward syllable clusters, eliminate passive voice, and confirm line timings fit target durations.

Our Studio Standards

01

Zero Filler Phrases

We ban empty transitions, rhetorical throat clearing, and obvious restatements. Every line delivers narrative value, introduces tension, or provides verifiable facts.

02

Primary-Source Research

We avoid secondhand internet summaries. Our research draws from technical papers, historical archives, company earnings filings, and documented interviews.

03

Open Web Utilities

We build and host client-side browser tools for independent video editors. These calculators and converters run without logins, paywalls, or personal data tracking.
